VMware 12.5.2 not working on Linux

Hi Guys,

Can you please help, can't seem to get vmware workstation 12.5 to work on Linux, running kernel: 4.9.0 and source.list file cannot locate Linux headers, is there any solution.

OS: Kali Linux 64

Kernel: 4.9.0

Error: "C header files matching your running kernel were not found.  Refer to your distribution's documentation for installation instructions."

Hi,

Install the C Header files?

eg.

apt-get update

apt-get upgrade

apt-get install linux-headers-$(uname -r)

PS: If you Kali is recent then you best update workstation to the latest (12.5.7 ) before burning a lot of time getting it to work.
