We have virtualized our IT infrastructure (Server and Desktop) with Horizon view 7.0 Linked clone Desktops. Now we would like to give access some of the desktops to remote users through Internet.
What is the best way to implement it?
Should we implement Security Server or VPN connectivity?
If Security server is implemented, should we implement it in DMZ?
Is it good to implement Virtual Appliance than Security Server?
A common approach is to deploy VMware Unified Access Gateway (which was previously called Access Point).

That post includes a comparison with VPN technology.
If your comfortable with a Windows server in the DMZ you can also deploy Horizon Security Server.

Thanks markbenson for your prompt response.
Can you please helps us with clarifying the below Points.
Is it mandatory to implement UAG in DMZ?
Is it advisable to implement UAG / Security Server without DMZ?
It's not mandatory to deploy UAG in a DMZ. Many people do that though for any traffic coming from the Internet to add further security protection. UAG stops unauthorised traffic from proceeding beyond the DMZ.
Thanks markbenson for your help
