vSAN, Hybrid cluster, compression and dedup funtion?

I'm using 'VSAN ready node' with hybrid disk. Is there any method to enable data compression and dedup function?

Compression and dedup is only available to All Flash configuration

techguy129 is correct.

Deduplication and Compression is only available on All-Flash vSAN 6.2 or higher configurations using vSAN Advanced Edition, vSAN Enterprise Edition, or vSAN Advanced ROBO Edition.

Is it possible to implement 'compression and deduplication' in the following way?

- Recognize 'HDD' as 'Flash' and set it like All-Flash

I'd advise again doing that. HDD don't have nearly enough IOPS to be considered a ssd in any form. Perform overall would be horrible

Can the 'Configuration specification' below satisfy the 'Request function'?

[ Configuration specification ]

- vSAN Ready Node / Hybrid vSAN Cluster

- vSphere 6.5 Standard, VMware vSAN 6.6 Advanced, vCenter Server 6.5

[ Request function ]

○. Architectural requirements

- Equipment must be appliance type which is integrated with computing / storage / comprehensive management tools

- Provides virtualized storage volume based on hyper-converged or converged

○. Performance Category

- It should provide inline or post type data compression function and redundancy elimination function

- It should provide automatic data balancing function not to overload from data storage space of specific server (node)

- It should provide automatic data tiering function on storage media such as memory or SSD

○. Scalability Requirements:

- It should provide expansion and elimination function on critical system resources (computing, storage, etc) without service disruption. No impact on service performance is also required

- Scale-out should be possible considering additional expansion

○. Stability/ Availability requirements

- It should provide automatic service recovery and server fail

- over function in case of server (node) or chassis (block) failure

- It should provide online live migration function for virtual machines among servers

- For data protection, the data must be multiplexed and data replication coefficient must be at least 2

- It should provide backup and restore function in VM or VM group unit

- It should provide async DR function between centers and DR duplication function

○. Compatibility requirements

- It should provide compatibility with current hypervisor

- It should provide sharing volume function for cluster configuration of virtual machine

○. Management requirements

- Hardware and virtual machine based monitoring and operational tasks should be provided using a single management system

- It should provide a warning function on the work progress, failure and resource use

- It should provide virtual infrastructure management function through Web browser environment

deduplication and compression are only supported on ALL-FLASH configurations as stated above. The answer to your question is: No, this requirement cannot be satisfied. I recommend looking at all-flash configurations if this is a hard requirement. Please do not mimim flash using the trick mentioned above. If things go wrong then you won't be eligible for support, you do not want to find yourself in this situation when your data is stored on the system.
