can i update security patches if my license has expired its service and subscription ?

vsphere esxi/vcenter enterprise plus license.

Hi,

Ideally you should be ok to patch the host as long as it has a valid license. The VUM should able to download the patches. To confirm I would suggest to reach out VMware support.
