Hello all,
I got a strange issue with Vra and bladelogic agent.
We have configured the agent on our infrastructure and set the default property below :
But the registration on bladelogic failed.
i noticed on the IaaS server the command sent for the execution of the NSH script is weird.
It miss an argument (BMC.AddServerDelay) that cause a missmatch on the argument (FIRST ISSUE) .
if I fix it manually, it still not working.
I notice that the servername is sent using the machine name and not the FQDN, that the reason of my error, If I run the NSH manually with FQDN the server is well registered!
So my question is...
How I can fix the serverdelay issue, and main problem how can I say to Vra to use the FQDN name for agent communication instead of Mahcine name!
thanks for your help.
Luc
So I got an answer from my U.S colleague (thanks!!) in fact baldelogic requiree FQDN on our infrastructure.
So we have to add a custom property with domain name, and then modify the install script in order to add this domain suffix ....
InstallSoftware.ps1 in C:\Program Files (x86)\VMware\vCAC\Agents\BladeLogic8.7\Scripts
Thank you for updating the thread !!
