I have extracted a Windows Nano server build from Windows 2016 and used the MS tools to create a WIM image. Is there an easy way to get that image into VMware? My goal is to create a template from and be able to deploy base Nano servers through vRA.
Thanks

Hello,
Easiest way I can think of on this is to create a VM and deploy the VIM image to the VM and create a template. Does not appear to be a direct convert from VIM to VM.

Matt I ended up creating a bootable WIM, created a blank VM, booted that VM on my WIM and exploded the image onto it. It works, just not real pretty.
