Windows Server 2016 client - immediately refresh after logoff

Dear All,

I created a floating (linked clone) pool with Windows Server 2016 desktops. Delete or refresh machine on logoff is set to immediately.

However I realized when I start a session and logoff the session, composer won't refresh the machine. Composer only refresh the machine when I manually reboot the client in Vcenter. I think composer works fine, but somehow View doesn't recognize a logoff. There is only an option available in Windows Server 2016 to sign out and not the option to reboot or shutdown. I guess this by design and makes sense.

In the Global Settings "Enable Windows Server desktops" is YES. We use the Horizon Suite 7.03.

Do I need to change something in the group policy that a logoff actually means a shutdown?

Thanks,

Edy

Hello,

The logs would need to be reviewed to determine if this is an issue with synchronization, the pool, or a GPO and View Composer component. If you see anything in the logs and need confirmation, let us know.
