how to delete inactive datastore from windows vcenter

I disconnected one of our ESXi host 6.0 from vcenter 6.0 which is installed on windows server.

After that, I try to add it again but received the following error and unable to add it.

Datastore "datastore1-3' conflicts with an existing datastore in the datacenter that has the same URL (/vmfs/volumes/xxxxx) but is backed by different physical storage.

I noticed that datastore in our vcenter 6.0 as inactive status. How do I clear that and add it again?

Only a guess. Often "ghost" datastores are caused by VM's with settings that point to this datstore (e.g. an ISO image for the virtual CD-ROM drive). Please check whether any the existing VM's in the vCenter Server environment still has such a setting, and - if so -  set its CD-ROM dive to Client Devices.

Thanks for your reply.  I have verified all the VMs attached Images with CD Rom and cleaned but still not able to delete it.
