My vCenter server would not allow me to login when 1 of our 5 DCs went offline. The logon server for the for the VC was pointing to the offline DC so, I set another logon server and rebooted, I also rebooted the DB and SSO server. I managed to get into the web client as the administrator but it wouldn't find any objects. I can't find anything that suggest vCenter to be tied to a single DC? Does anyone have any ideas why this would happen?
On a side note the DC was taken offline on purpose to reinstall (the roles were transferred to another DC). When the server came back online I was able to login to vCenter.
