Grafikprobleme

Hallo

Ich habe folgende Situation:

Mein System Windows 10 64Bit mit einer Geforce GT 1070 etc...

Nun will ich eine VM aufsetzen mit der gleichen Grafikleistung bzw. etwas schwächer da ich ein Programm habe das die Anforderung benötigt.

Wenn ich jetzt aber die VM aufsetze und die Grafikeinstellungen vornehmen will habe ich nur 2 Optionen und bei beiden habe ich nicht ausreichend Grafikleistung in der VM für mein Programm.

Ich habe versucht den Grafiktreiber auf der VM zu installieren, aber er sagt, das keine passende Hardware gefunden wurde.

Was kann ich da machen, habe ich etwas falsch gemacht? Ich weiss das es geht da es bei anderen auch funktioniert.

Hoffe da kann mir jemand helfen

Haben sie die VMware Tools auf die VM installiert?

Aside from installing VMware Tools, you also want to make sure that VMware is using the Nvidia GTX 1070 as the render device for the VM in the event you have multiple graphics processors enabled (e.g. integrated graphics of Intel).

With notebooks, you can set Nvidia as preferred graphics processor in the Nvidia Control Panel.

With desktops, it looks like Nvidia Control Panel doesn't give the ability to select the preferred graphics processor.

So if you have a desktop with Intel graphics enabled, you can add the following lines to the vmx configuration file of your VM(s). This ensures that VMware Workstation will use Nvidia as the DX11 render device.

mks.dx11.driverType = "unknown"

mks.dx11.vendorID = "0x10de"
