Is replication supported from 6.1.2 with vCenter 6.0 to replication appliance version 6.5 and vCenter 6.5?

Hi!

We have upgraded one site to vCenter 6.5 and vCenter Replication appliance 6.5.  Replication to sites with a similar configuration work fine.  We have one site, however that is still running vCenter 6.0 and replication appliance version 6.1.2 and the connection times out when we try to connect to that site.  I can't find documentation detailing functionality between these versions.

Has anyone found documentation, or have experience with these versions?

Thanks a lot!

You will need the same major version, see the vSphere Replication FAQ: Storage and Availability Technical Documents

To replicate between vCenters, vSphere Replication requires the same major version (eg. 5.5.x > 5.5.x) of vCenter and vSphere Replication at both source and target. This is the only officially tested and supported configuration. Check the VMware Product Interoperability Matrix if you have any questions about matching vCenter and vSphere Replication versions.
