How can i open ports in VMware Workstation 12 Player

Hey,

i opened ports in my fritzbox router and disabled firewall in win 10 .. ports were open but not in VMware. I dont know how to configure ports for NAT network in VMware player i think it isnt possible I tried to use bridge networking but that didnt work. Any idea how can i open my ports correctly ? Smiley Happy

Unfortunately, you will need to jump through some hoops.  You need to use the Virtual Network Editor - which is not included in the VMware Player installation package, only in Workstation.  Search the forum - there should be some posts on how to extract the editor from the Workstation installer package and copy it into the Player folder, so that you can edit your NAT networking settings.  Once you have the Editor, refer to the VMware Workstation documentation on configuring port pass-through for the NAT configuration.
