Hi all
Could anyone confirm whether vCD support for RDM disk is on the vCD roadmap and if so, what the timeframe is?
We have a requirement to support several applications that use shared disk, currently using RDMs in a vSphere environment and the only options I can see are as follows:
These options all have their drawbacks of course, so ideally we'd like to be able to have them using RDMs but managed by vCD.
Thanks!
Jonathan
AFAIK there is no official confirmation so far. Like you said in guest ISCSI connection is only option and clustering based on RDM has been a big NO for a long time. I think it has more to do with VCD architecture and VCD placement algorithm since RDM are direct mapping to Virtual Machine.

Thanks. Yes, iSCSI only - no RDM support.
