Change IP of deployed VM

Hi I am trying to change the IP of some VM's that were deployed and got it's address from the network profile. I had to adjust the range that the profile provides and now I need these deployments to get new IP's.

I have a similliar problem.

Users are able to change network profile for a deployed VM (via Reconfigure), but when the task end it looks like vRA only changed the network profile (changed the port group on vCenter) but the VM did not get any new IP Address.

Is there any solution for this scenario / using vRO to solve it ?

Thanks in advance.

You should be able to change the IP address through a reconfigure task. See the documentation: Change Network Settings

I dont wanna let the useres cahnge the IP as they want.

Our environment contains static IP's, so the IP should be allocated through the vRA IPAM service, but how should we Identify when the reconfigure task is related to IP change ?

The simplest way to configure a static IP address is, to begin with, a dynamically assigned address using DHCP.
