Horizon View plugin 1.4 configuration

Hi all,

I'm having a hard time trying to configure the Horizon View plugin 1.4.

  • I've ran the 'Add view pod In Configuration' with no error.
  • I've ran the 'Add Delegated Administrator Configuration' with no error.

But nothing appears in the Inventory Tab, and no View Pod or Pool appears in 'Add user(s) to Desktop Pools'. What I'm missing?

My platform:

  • Horizon View 7.03
  • Horizon plugin 1.4
  • Orchestrator 7.2
  • vSphere 6.0

Thanks,

Finally I could make this work. It was difficult because the lack of tutorials.

First of all, you need to have configured the Active Directory plugin configured in vRO with the same domain as Horizon View.

The execute the 'Add view pod In Configuration' workflow.

Next, you need to execute the 'Add Delegated Administrator Configuration' workflow adding the user that you use to configure in vRealize Automation to connect to vRO.

Then you need to execute the 'Manage Self Service Pool Configuration' to identify which Pools can be consumed by the self service portal.

Thats is all the trick.
