I have a Schneider panel pc running win XP embedded that has "left this earth" .
Now I wonder, is it possible to take the 4 GB SD card (XP system and additional programs). and turn it in to a WM ?

Possible options to try
(1) Boot up from the SD card (if at all possible) and perform a P2V conversion
(2) Create a VM and customise the VM hard disk to use physical disk and choose the SD card
Option (1) obviously not viable if you can't boot up and connect to another PC/Mac to perform a P2V
Option (2) runs the risk of destroying the SD card and its contents if something goes haywire
