how to free up vcsa vm space

I'm trying to free space on my vcsa.

I don't understand why my vcsa vm (powered down with no snapshots) is suddenly 26.1gb big.

Recently it was 14.2gb.

I could free some space by deleting dumps in /storage/core.

Any other recommendations ?

I need space cause I run the vcsa machine on my 120gb ssd disk.

The vcsa is way too slow on my hard disk, with lots of "BUG : Soft lockup - CPU stuck".

On the hard disk, I have plenty of space for the 2 esxi hosts.

Perhaps it is a logging issue. KB 2143565 says "To work the /storage/log directory full issue in vCenter Server Appliance, decrease the maximum backup size and the maximum backup index in the log4j.properties file (https://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=21435...).

KB 8182749 describes configuration options for the VMware.log file (https://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=81827...). This article uses four techniques, all of which include editing the .vmx file.

Nothing wrong in the logs.

/storage/log  is only  311M

There is no "log4j.properties" file in my vcsa, so KB 2143565 does not apply.

I'm setting "logging=false" in the .vmx

What else can I do to save space ?
