Hello All,

Please can someone help me with how to failover over a single virtual machine in a protection group?

I have about 10 vm's the protection group but i need to failover just one VM.

You can't failover a single virtual machine in a protection group, but you can failover all virtual machines and select just a single virtual machine to power on at recovery site. And since you're using vSphere Replication, another option is to create another protection group with just the single virtual machine that you want to test.

You will need to do two steps:

1) create a new protection group: Create Protection Groups

2) create a new recovery plan: Create a Recovery Plan
