use vcenter 6.5 to manage esxi 6

Can anyone tell me if I can use vCenter 6.5 to manage a 6.0 esxi instance? I have been having issues getting update manager plug-in to install trying to use vCenter and update manager 6.0. I was going to try 6.5 to see if the issue would resolve. I am pretty new to all this. Thanks.

Yes, you can. vCenter Server 6.5 can manage vSphere ESXi host from version 5.5 and later, see the interop matrix: VMware Product Interoperability Matrices
