why would you want to add the route? Assuming that the storage system is in the same subnet (192.168.1.0/24) as the VMkernel port (vmk1 in this case), there's no need to route traffic.

Issue is without any static route, if I ping any IP in 192.168.1.0/24 network. I am getting sendto() failed (no route to host)
As you can see in my main post there is no route specified for 192.168.1.0/24 subnet.
According to your first post, the Storage VMkernel port uses both, vmnic0, and vmnic1. Can you confirm that the storage network is accessible over both vmnics?
Since your Management Network is configured for vmnic0 only, I'd assume that the Storage VMkernel port might need to be configured to use vmnic1.
If this doesn't help, please provide some more details about the network configuration (physical and virtual).
