You've shown all the network interface configurations, but nothing more about your host (OS or physical specs).

Is that physical disk you are presenting to your ESXi VM completely not used/mounted/seen by the host OS?

Hi RDPetruska,

Thank you for asking.

Physical specs of my computer are:

motherboard:  Intel Core i7 4790K 4.0GHz Socket 1150

processor:      SABERTOOTH Z97 MARK 1

RAM:    Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR3 PC15000/1866MHz CL9 4x8GB

OS: Windows 10 x64 Professional

I install both AD (Windows 2012 R2 x64)  and ESXi-6 on Samsung SSD 250GB . However i have tried to install AD on different HDD but with the same result.

Cheers

Using physical disks with WS 12 means asking for trouble.
Do you get the same problems when you run the ESXi VM without the physical disk ?

Never came across this kind of issue in my lab.

Specifications are more than enough to run your AD and ESXi VMs. Personally I faced a lot of performance issues with memory. So I advise you to play around with the below options:

VMware Workstation > Edit > Preferences > Memory >

  • Try to increase the reserved memory slide.
  • Change the option available under "Additional Memory".
