I have followed the steps mentioned in this link VMware vSphere 6.5 Documentation Library to monitor the vcenter logs on remote machine. I have used "option = *" to get all the logs on the remote machine. I am successfully getting the syslogs on my remote machine.
But, I want to monitor specific log files/folders using the native syslog service provided by vmware. How can i change the syslog configurations to achieve the same? I have checked on the vmware community and docs but didn't find any information.
e.g. I want to monitor all the vcenter log files residing under: /var/log/vmware/vpxd directory and blacklist *.log.gz
