custom properties during approval process

Hi,

I want to create a custom property during the approval process.

When I create it, there is only a plain text.

When creating a custom property in the property dictionary I have more than a string, and I can also use an action from the Orchestrator.

Is it available when creating it from the approval?

Thanks!

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking here, can you clarify?

hi,

I create an approval policy while deploying a new virtual machine.

When a user request for new virtual machine, the request go to system team for approve.

In the system team, I want to add a label of vlan.

I create an action which query the vlans in my vCenter.

I want to connect between the label and this action.

Is it possible?

In the system team, I want to add a label of vlan.

Unclear what you mean by "label" in this case. Does this mean that the requested catalog item is already assigned a VLAN, that the user is dynamically choosing one at time of request, or that the approver has the ability to set/override the VLAN in use before it gets approved?

I create an action which query the vlans in my vCenter.

I want to connect between the label and this action.

Again, not really clear how you're wanting this to work. Can you provide an example scenario where you explain your ideal workflow? Also, what is your use case for this? What problem are you trying to solve?

hi,

I attach a print screen.

I want the ability to choose from a list of vlan (dropbox).

I have already create an action in the orchestrator which query all the vlans in the vCenter.

I don't know if this will end up working for you the way you want. Why would you want to have the approver define this networking information rather than have it either specified in a blueprint or giving the user the ability to dynamically choose the port group at time of request?
