Getting a packet capture of traffic to a VM

It would be a big help if I didn't need to involve developers to get them to run a wireshark to tcpdump on the VM itself.

Is there a tool in NSX, vRealilze? Other??

Latest version of NSX can steer traffic to Gigamon virtual appliances using the DFW feature to "packet copy". This would require NSX and Gigamon. Otherwise you could port mirror on the VDS which is less granular.

Very interesting. We actually have Gigmon deployed. Will talk to Mr. Gigamon. Thank you!
