Workstation with 4Kn HDD's

• Can VMWare Workstation be installed on native 4Kn drives (without 512b emulation)?
• If yes, and Workstation is installed on a 4Kn drive, are guest O/S's limited to those that are 4kn aware?

Hello,

Yes, that is not a problem at all.

VMware Workstation is unaware about the underlying file system on which you store your virtual machines.

The guest OS is not limited to the sector size of the advanced format drive on which you store your virtual disk.
