path selection

on vcenter 6.0 i cant see policy selection . why we cant see path selection rr or mru policy on vcenter ? we use vmware emc vaai

we take this report with rvtools also on vcenter we cant see any path selection

Hi,

could it be that you're using EMC Powerpath/VE?

If so, PP/VE added it's own path selection policies to the ESXi hosts, but those aren't displayed in vCenter.

To check the policies used by PP/VE you could use the 

If so, the used path policies aren't visible in vCenter, instead you could use the PP/VE vAPP to check them.

where are you looking for this information?

You should be able to see this for each LUN/datastore. In RVTools the path policy is shown in the "vMultipath" tab.

yes on vMultipath" tab. is empty . Also on vcenter
