DirectX 10 not supported?

Trying to get Dragon Age Inquisition to run and getting 'Your compute does not meet the minimum requirements for playing this game.  VMWare SVGA 3D GPU does not support DIrectX 10.0 which is required.'

This is on a Win10 VM, Sierra Host, Fusion 8.5.2, 2015 MBP with:

AMD Radeon R9 M370X 2048 MB

Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB

DXDiag Reports: DirectX 12 and under display, all three DirectX Features are enabled.  Feature Levels 10_0, 9_3, 9_2, 9_1

Any ideas what (if anything) I can do?

I was able to reproduce your problem in Fusion 8.5.2 and I have reported it to development team, thanks for your feedback.

Thanks Rick!  I'll keep my fingers crossed for an 8.5.3 or 8.5.4 before Christmas :-).

If I had to guess is the game requires profile 10_1 and we have 10_0, but we'll look into it.

We will be releasing 8.5.3 tomorrow to fix the crashes under macOS 10.12 tho, so no need to wait for Christmas for that

I am also trying to run Dragon Age Inquisition and get the exact same error.

I am on a Win 10 VM, Sierra host, Fusion 10.1, 2017 MBP with:

Radeon Pro 555 2048 MB

Intel HD Graphics 630 1536 MB

Display settings say 3D acceleration is active and supports DirectX 10.

I am attaching the complete dxdiag report.
