Installing Windows 10 on older VMWare Fusion 7.1.3 works fine, except a few issues:
- After u shut down/restart nitially after a lean install, and then power back on u get the blue screen... After the automatic reboot boots into OS fine.
- By default, in Windows 10 time is incorrect(Sydney time) even though VMWare tools is installed and "Synchronize time" is checked in 'Settings >> advanced of VM.
Solution is adjust time/date in Windows, as during install of Windows 10 u do not get option to set Time offset +800 hours etc... but only country at beginning.
Are these issues solved in Parallels 8 ? I'm guess the above issues are because i'm running older version of VMWare fusion ?
Apart from the blue screen which only happens the second time restart, Windows 10 runs fine.
