Failed to evacuate data for disk UUID with error: Out of resources to complete the operation

Hi Guys

I am facing the above mentioned issue while evacuating the data from VSAN datastore. Few of the disks in the VSAN pool are of old Disk format version and they need to be upgraded. When I click on the Upgrade disk format version button, I get an error saying, failed to evacuate data, insufficient resources available.

I have a 3 node cluster with one disk group in each node.

Disk claiming is set to manual.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Good morning, I believe the error is on the nose.  To do the upgrade you don't have enough free resources.  You may need to create and apply a FTT = 0 policy, apply it to the VMs, and then allow for reduced redundancy.  There a few other threads involving 3 node clusters.
