I feel like I've researched this before and never found a solution. I know about the `esxcli vsan cluster leave` command, but that only works if you have access to the host. What if you have a entirely dead machine that you need to force out of a cluster? Is there a process for that?
At the cluster level, right click and choosing "remove" on the unavailable host should take it out of the VSAN cluster.
I'm pretty sure it stays as a member of the VSAN cluster though and an error remains about unable to communicate with a vsan host. Although.....I bet I did that with the C# client and not the web client. D'oh!
