i have a cluster so hosts cpu are different . i checked the from VMware Compatibility Guide . it say all mode support but i selected Intel Sandy-Bridge mode but is it true ? can i select another. what is true mode for my cluster. is there any cpu performans problem on my VMs
Your CPU are from Haswell family, so if you're using Sandy Bridge EVC level, you're two level behind the latest level that your CPU support. You may not notice performance problems, but if all CPU are the same model, my recommendation is to upgrade your EVC level to L6 (Intel Haswell Generation), see: Enhanced vMotion Compatibility (EVC) processor support (1003212) | VMware KB
Additional CPU info: Intel® Xeon® Processor E5-2660 v3 (25M Cache, 2.60 GHz) Specifications
we have esxi 5.5 u2 and vcenter 5.5 u2 ?
To use Haswell you will need vCenter 6, see:
so if i use lvy bridge then I will have better performans . right ?
