vRA 7.1.0 Directory addition

Hi,

We are migrating vRA from 6.2.3 to vRA 7.1.0.

We installed fresh vRA 7.1.0. Configured directory in it but in syncing process we are getting error as below:

Kindly suggest.

Error message: Failed to complete sync due to Exception.

Hi,

You could review your corresponding catalina.out (/var/log/vcac/catalina.out) log file and look for log records around the time you initiate the sync of the directory - this should shed some more light on the issue.

Hello ,

I think your  directory is not configured correctly , can you please specify which authentication you are using , whether  Native Active Director or Active Directory over LDAP.

If you are confident that connector is configured and turnoff safeguard by unticking all and provide group and user OU (mostly same OU ) both the places. Also ticket "sync nested group members".

Note:don't give much attributes now , just try with simple one.
