sdd folder?

Hi guys,

I'm running a command on files older than 7 days on the ESX host and its generated a few of these locations:

sdd.png

What is the sdd folder exactly - inside it I have VMDK file with the name of the virtual machine however it ends with _2.vmdk - is this some kind of duplicate which can be deleted?

Thanks,

Travis

_2.vmdk is a name for the third SCSI-disk of a VM created via t he wizard.
Such a file should not be inside a .sdd directory.
Check if the file is open with lsof or tools like that.
And do not delete files directly - first rename it to "delete-me-later-original-name.vmdk"
If thats possible create a "delete-me-monday" directory and move the renamed file outside the sdd-dir to the new one.
If that works - and nobody complains until monday - start considering deleting it.
