Failed to set multiple vCPUs in FT in vSphere 6 Enterprise plus Hosts

Hello everyone~

I have 2 IBM x3250 M5 servers running vSphere 6 Enterprise plus.

Just build an FT cluster which includes 2 above ESX hosts and have some FT VMs (1 vCPU)  running well.

But if I change setting to 2 or 4 vCPU in FT VM, I will get an error message on vSphere client:

"The virtual machine has 2 virtual CPUs and is not supported for Fault Tolerance."

I checked "License Features" in two ESX hosts configuration by vSphere client, found message: "vSphere FT (up to 4 virtual CPUs)"

So I think the license should be alright.

I could not figure out the reason.

If someone know how to solve it? Please help me, thank you

How many FT virtual machines you have running per host? And you're using 1Gb or 10Gb network connection for FT?
