vRA 7.1.0 queries

Query 1:

We have vRA suite license of 7.0.

Could it is possible that we install vRA 7.1.0 using 7.1.0 installer and put license of 7.0 ?

Any issue running this way ?

Query 2:

We have installed vRA 7.1.0. And have database on standalone server. It verified it correctly. but on last install screen it says "Database is on external server and hence needs to be deleted. Revert the snapshot and  configure the database.

Is it that vRA 7.0 and vRA 7.1.0 does not work with SQL on separate(standalone) server?

We have server like this : 1) vRA appliance 2) IAAS widnows server 3) SQL server

1. Yes, this is fine. 7.0 licences will apply to 7.x releases.

2. Can you share a screenshot? That error doesn't sound familiar.

It looks to me as if this succeeded. That text is informational only in the event of the installation failing.
