Backup configuration

Hi Guy,

Do you know how to backup configuration of vShield Edge in vCloud Director?

Do you know how to login to vShield Edge VM in vCloud Director? I have tried to open console via vSphere Client, but I don't know Username and Password to login. It not use username and password that I have assigned to Organization via vCD. and I try to login CLI console, but still not know Username and password that vShield Edge use when It has deployed from vCloud Director.

if you guy have experience on this, please help to shared.

For backup, the recommendation is to use FTP/SFTP as per vShield Install Guide / Admin Guide https://www.vmware.com/support/pubs/vshield_pubs.html

For password, you can reset the admin password from the vCNS Manager web interface with below steps:

1. Log into the vCNS web interface.

2. At “View:” in the left corner, select Edges.

3. Select the Edge Gateway you want to log into.

4. Click Actions and select Change CLI Credentials.
