Having this feature available to one kind of protection group seemed better than it not being available. Hopefully/possibly in future releases there will be support for NSX integration and VR/ABR protection groups.

Just the number of development hours it would take, other priorities in the software (and elsewhere), needing to get the release out by a particular date, etc. We wanted to have support for other PGs, and we still do, it just didn't come together for this release and we thought one was better than none
