Hi
when i try install vm workstation i got this message :
i tryied
-run as administrator
-reboot
- run as administrator via cmd
nothing works
ok i manage to solve this problem, but that https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/834484https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/834484 was not solution. Solution was to delete 3 files in C:\Windows\System32\drivers :
hcmoon ,vmnet and vm bridge i delete them with program called lock hunter
Uh,
It is not the first time that I saw that error installing for example the VMRC.
What I did was to open a CMD as administrator, navigating to the directory where the executable for installation was from the command line, and launching the installation from the command line as admin and that solved it. BUT I saw that you already did it and it is failing...
Would you mind trying to install the VMRC and test it again?
https://my.vmware.com/group/vmware/details?downloadGroup=VMRC810&productId=491
Perhaps the hcmon could be the same version or somewhat fix it...
Regards,
Luis.
nope while instaling vmrc this message still show up ;/
Hi,
This might be due to some security endpoint software blocking the install.
For example:

i off windows defender and firewall i don't have installed antivirus because this is a new installation windows 10 , and try install again , and again i fail
Hi,
It is a strange error on a new install with no previous VMware installs (If I understand correctly)
You already tried to install VMRC as well with the same error, otherwise I would have suggested to check your download.
The hcmon service is used for USB, so anything non standard in regards to usb is suspect.
At the moment, with the current information I have no idea what to suggest.
There's an install log somewhere that might have more details, in your user temporary folder look for a file like vminst.log or vmsetup*.log
When you find them, attach them here to your reply.

here are logs:
Hi,
There's an attach button at the bottom right when you reply so you can attach files locally. Normally I tend to discard files from external sites, in this case however I downloaded it already.
A seemingly relevant snippet is this:

So it's "error code 1603" and as this is a windows installer log, the following Microsoft KB article is relevant:
