Create an Encrypted container within VMware Workstation

On How To Geek there is an article : "How to Create an Encrypted Container File With BitLocker on Windows"

I haven't tried it, being worried I mess things up, but is this possible within VMware Workstation v12 ?

Want to see how it works before applying on the host pc, creating a vhd container of maybe just 5-10GB.

I've tried to create an encrypted vhd file in Windows 10 guest of VMware Workstation 12. Then I copied the vhd file to Windows 10 host, the vhd file can be decrypted on Windows 10 host without any problem.

It is highly recommended to use one oiece preallocated vmdks in this case.
