VCIX after Design exam passed?

Hello,

on tuesday I have passed the VCAP6-DCV Design exam. Today I can find that on my transcript.

I have both of VCAP-DCV exams of version 5.

When I can expect the VCIX certification be shown?

to get an answer to your query, please write an email to certification@vmware.com, they will let you know.

ideally, let's say you have VCAP5-DCA and now you have done VCAP6-DCV Design, you should be getting VCIX-DCV soon enough, may be a week or so.

my experience from the Exam is little bit confusiong.

Some questions were not well understoodable. Some designs were mysterious, because there was not mentioned, what exact needs to be drawn, and what is out of scope.

The Drag and Drops were time to time not well asked, Dont know, if there was only one correct, if is needed to use all the fields etc.

Final score for me was 315 points from 500.

I did the same exam during Beta, awaiting results.

My experience for few questions (design and drag & drop) was also similar to yours.

Response from certification team:

The VCIX 6 DCV has not been released. You will see it in your transcript once it is released.

fortunately we do not have dates you will need to wait until the release comes out.

So as I mean, VCIX will be released together with VCAP6-DCV Deploy.
