We have some users who use the Horizon View client to connect to an RDS server. In our Horizon View 6 environment we have published an RD Server and users can connect OK. Once connected though we as admins cannot remote control or shadow their sessions from the RD server or from an admin workstation as we can for users connecting to the servers via plain RDP i.e. not using the Horizon View client. We have set all the permissions for the "VMware-RDS" connection to allow remote control but as soon as we try the remote control option we get "Access is denied". From a command line shadow command we get the following:
Remote Control Failed. Error Code 317
Has anyone come across this or even better solved it?
