Workstation 12 Nested ESXi 6.0 U2 - Not able to connect to Embedded Host Client HTTP

    I've nested ESXi 6.0 U2 in workstation for a lab and everything so far appears fine except I cannot connect to the embedded host client via the web browser. I am using a Host only connection in workstation with a VMNet on a different subnet. I can ping, ssh, and use the Windows vSphere Client to connect to the host but not via the browser.

update: I have a VM on the same subnet as the nested ESXi 6.0 host and it can browse the embedded host client fine. Just not from my host workstation.
