Hi,
what's up with that stuck "in progress" state in vrealize 7.
We're rolling out 4 vm's from a single blueprint which is just a clone from a template.
3 are successful but one is stuck in a "in progress" state.
What could be the reason for this one to be in a stuck state and how can we fix this?
Regards,
John
Salam,
Try to install manually java on IaaS server. Create Environment variable for java.
Re-Launch your Installation.
______________________________________________________________________________
Install the 64-bit java client (http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp) and follow these additional steps:
Navigate to your “System Properties” -> in “Advanced” Tab -> select“Environmental Variables”.
Add a new Variable named “JAVA_HOME” and set the value to the Java install location where your \bin directory is located, which is “C:\Program Files\Java\jre7.Click “Ok” Twice.
are you sure we need to re-launch our installation :smileyconfused:
It timed out after a couple of hours: Timeout initial power on machine
And it removed the 3 VM's already installed.
Tried it again, same problem.
Could you check the Infrastructure log for any related message ?
Which kind of vRA architecture are you using ?
Cheers,
Tim.
DO NOT REINSTALL.
Now that we've addressed that, one of the most common reasons for a stuck "In Progress" is a failed Event Broker subscription. Are you using event broker?
no event broker being used(yet).
Just a deployment of a blueprint with a template which is being deployed 4 times.
This is something that we are working to resolve. You may want to log an SR in order to get the hotfix as soon as it's available.
