Local and Remote Replication for same VM?

Is it possible to configure replication for a VM to be replicated locally and remotely?

For example:

ServerA is my server I need to replicate.

I configure replication for this ServerA VM to be replicated storage in the same site (local)

I open replication again for ServerA VM and I can only view/manage this replication.

I would like to replicate ServerA VM offisite to a remote VCenter cluster for DR purposes.

Is this possible? What am I doing wrong?

same source VM cannot be replicated to two target sites using vSphere Replication.

It would be a different story if you use Storage array level replication between source to target and for second replication you use vSphere replication.
