I am new to VMware. I have to host computers - HP DL360 and HP DL380. I have full ver SQL 2016. I will install Windows server 2012 as my gust os. Was thinking to do this way:
DL360 - 2 VM's - vCenter VM, Server 2012 Domain Controller VM
DL380 - 4 VMs - SQL Server 2012, Exchange Server 2014, and two Windows File/Application share servers.
I will cfg SQL server to be used as a backend database for vCenter and for our main application that uses SQL on one of the Application servers.
Does this sound workable? Or I would really like some comments for best practice.
