I am doing some research to make our products co-work with VMwareHA. Here are some questions I want to know more details from your experts:
1) If Our products application/processes failed, the Guest VM where it is should invoke VMware HA. I think I need to use "vSphere HA Application Monitoring" to make this SDK in Guest VM co-work with our application/processes to monitor and generate some actions. What I am questioned is if I need to know the Application Monitor Status from other Guest VM, for example the management Guest VM of our products, what API should I use? VMware vSphere API? What are the relative Objects and Methods?
2) If the management Guest VM of our products what to know the exact VMware HA action of other Guest VMs, what API and relative Objects and Methods should I use? You know, if one Guest VM contain our application/processes is resetting or failover, our management Guest VM should aware of it and record it for further actions' decision.
Any suggestion or tips would be greatly appreciate! Thanks a lot.
