how to connect an additional Vcenter Server to VRA 7.0

Hi,

i'm encountering a peculiar problem, i have vRealize Automation 7.01 installed

and I've successfully connected a vCenter server (version 5.5 update2) as an endpoint

but i can't seem to connect additional vCenter servers to the VRA, when i try to add them as an endpoint

they will apear under the endpoint list but no data collection is preformed and i cannot see their compute resources (cluster or ESXI servers)

it seems like there is no data collection agent for an additional vcenter

Do i need to create an additional agent or DEM on the IAAS server? and if so how do i create one?

thanks

In order to add a new vCenter to vRA, you first have to create a new Proxy Agent on your IaaS Infrastructure to connect to the desired vCenter.

You can add it on your first Proxy Agent instance you already have for your first vCenter.

You will be able to do so with the IaaS Installer available from the vRA instance. Then you can add it in vRA, once the proxy agent is configured Smiley Happy

You can find more detailed information on this Blog, it is for version 6, but it is mostly the same :
