2 active App volumes managers connecting to the same default storage path

The reason i have raised this is because Im not happy with going across domains to attach appstacks.

This is what i want to accomplish:

users & Virtual desktops in domain A receive appstacks from VAP01 (version 2.7)in Domain A

users& Virtual desktops in Domain B receive appstacks from VAP02 (version 2.10) in domain B

both Appvolume Managers VAP01 & VAP02 are pointing to the same Virtual Center

both Appvolume Managers VAP01 & VAP02 are pointing at the same Default storage location "NA - Appstacks"

Can i do this ?

Will there be file locking?

I want to avoid creating a new storage lun and cduplicating the appstacks.

is what i want to do possible ?

Confirmed this setup works.

This will allow me to migrate users from Domain A to domian B and decomisison VAP01 and its SQL DB following the migration.

And also leave the Datastore intact  while being accessed from Domain B :smileysilly:

Hope this helps someone.
