For many years I have been configuring persistent scratch locations for my ESXi hosts, per VMware KB: VMware KB: Creating a persistent scratch location for ESXi 4.x/5.x/6.0
I usually configure the scratch right after connecting to enterprise storage, so at a fairly early stage of the game for an ESXi host.
Today I tried using the HTML5 Host-client and was unable to configure a persistent scratch location. Every time I tried, I got the generic message: Failed - A specified parameter was not correct.
Any ideas?
