I know stroage reservation policies can be linked with compute resources but what is use of this storage reservation policies?

You then associate storage in a blueprint with these policies. That way you can determine performance, availability or some other functional attribute of storage per volume on a blueprint.

Thanks Danco, Helpful link so this is only available with full clone not with linked clone vms. Any reason of not offering this for linked clone vms
